Terms of use

An independent guide

The site and app are not affiliated with or endorsed by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) or any government agency. Park information comes from public sources and is checked by hand, but fees, hours, rules and closures change, sometimes the same day. Always confirm with the park's official TPWD page before you go. We don't take reservations; bookings happen on TPWD's own reservation site.

Your safety

Outdoor activities carry risk. Use your own judgment, follow posted park rules and ranger instructions, and don't rely on the app as your only map or safety tool. Distances, drive times and trail details are estimates.

Subscriptions

The app is free to use. Some features need a paid subscription. If you subscribe:

• The price and billing period are shown in the app before you buy.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• You can manage or cancel it in your iPhone's Settings: tap your name, then Subscriptions.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies (reportaproblem.apple.com).

App license

The app is licensed to you under Apple'sLicensed Application End User License Agreement, together with these terms.

Content and photos

Park photos are from Wikimedia Commons and belong to their photographers, used under the license credited with each photo. The rest of the site's and app's text and design belong to GBY Media LLC. Don't copy them in bulk or scrape the site.

No warranty

The site and app are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, GBY Media LLC isn't liable for losses from using them or relying on their information, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.

Governing law and contact
