Lockhart State Park is a small park within easy driving distance of Austin and San Antonio. It has a nine-hole golf course built more than 80 years ago by the Works Progress Administration and the Civilian Conservation Corps, a pool that opens for the summer season, and short interconnected trails along Clear Fork Creek. Entry is $3 per adult.
